Tariff Update: A Note from Sacred Threads
As of August 1st, the U.S. government has implemented a 25% tariff on imported goods from India. Since Sacred Threads designs and manufactures its clothing in India, this change directly impacts our business. This situation is challenging, but we remain committed to navigating it with integrity and transparency.
Over the summer, we absorbed a 10% tariff on our goods without raising prices. However, with the recent 25% increase, it is no longer sustainable for us to carry the full burden. To continue operating responsibly and supporting our community of artisans, we’ve made a modest price increase—but only on new items from our Fall 2025 collection. Even with these adjustments, we are still absorbing part of the added cost to ease the impact on you and your customers.
